Mr Phadnis was totally professional and thorough in all aspects of care and treatment he provided to me. He is friendly and approachable with equal emphasis on listening to my health issues and providing information to me as the patient. I had a complex elbow reconstruction surgery through which his expertise has been greatly beneficial to me.

I fractured my elbow in December, 2022 Mr. Phadnis performed the operation just over 2 weeks later. Mr. Phadnis explained what the risks might be after the operation. I am now playing tennis, thank you so much for a superb operation . At the follow up 2 weeks after the operation another consultant guided me on doing my own physiotherapy. I felt this was very important advice when I was told there would be no NHS physiotherapy available. Therefore it was totally up to me!! thanks to all the team. Mrs H.

I found Joideep remarkable in his ability to explain everything easily in terms of both underlying problem, specific solution and the time needed for recovery. It was an absolute pleasure to be treated by someone who is highly knowledgeable and at the same time have a great way with people. All of this meant that i understood fully the need to follow the physiotherapy protocol provided and has meant that my recovery is progressing really well.

The care I received from Mr Phadnis was superb: he repaired my fractured distal humerus with pins and plates brilliantly. Not only is he orthopaedically skilled, he displayed his soft skills when he went out of his way pre-op to explain the procedure to myself and to my family. He actually went to the foyer of the SOTC to speak to my family as they were not allowed in the pre-op area. Similarly post-op. This was hugely appreciated. Follow ups were similarly professional and caring. When I suggested I might have ulnar nerve problems at the first follow up, he listened but was not convinced. However, when I returned to reiterate this complication, again he listened and put a plan into action straight away. So reassuring. I worked in the NHS for over 20 years and it's refreshing to still come across practitioners that are knowledgeable and caring. Thank you!

I had an accident with my bicycle on the ice in January 2023 and sustained a nasty, complicated fracture to my right elbow - 10 weeks before my wedding day! I was initially seen by Mr Phadnis's colleague, who recommended that Mr Phadnis perform the surgery, due to his skill and experience. Mr Phadnis was kind and compassionate. He clearly explained the procedure and the possible risks to me. He very skillfully reattached and reconstructed my elbow and gave clear advice on aftercare. The procedure was a great success! Although elbows are notorious for stiffness and limited movement after fractures, I now have almost full range of motion and very good strength - only 11 weeks after surgery. In addition to this, the scar is nearly invisible and no-one was able to notice it in my wedding dress! I would like to thank Mr Phadnis sincerely for excellent care and would highly recommend him.
